The hotel business has grown to be a science and demands skilled personnel as much or more than any other business. The real secret to success in our industry is providing the best “guest experience”. That often translates to how a staff member caters to a guest’s needs, which, in turn, depends on how well the staff member is trained.

The phenomenal success and expansion of HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings and the four hotel brands (Coral Hotels & Resorts, CORP Executive Hotels, ECOS Hotels and EWA Hotel Apartments)under it necessitated the creation of a training facility that will fulfill the training requirements of our group along with the industry. Basically, HMH Training Centre is a dedicated facility designed to meet the training and skills development needs of hospitality professionals.

A strategic alliance with Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI) allows us to provide the highest standards in comprehensive hospitality training to hotel staff in the region and beyond while ensuring locally relevant and internationally recognized courses. Our in-depth training programs cater to every segment of hotel business, from waiter to manager.

In hospitality, service is the major part of any product. You can overcome facility limitations with excellent service, but you can’t overcome lack of service with the greatest of facilities. It is good service that earns hotels good reputations and repeat business. Our employees are our most important asset and our success depends on how they perform. It takes a long time for new entrants to become efficient in the service. Training, therefore is non-negotiable and each of our staff must undergo 5 hours of mandatory training every month. It has been proven by research that organizations which devote their resources to training and skills development are guaranteed to see higher productivity and profitability in the future.
